Well there's mixed news on the possum front. As it stands, 5 or the little buggers made it. They were very young (step up from fetal) and mortality rates are high at that age. But the plus side is that the remainder seem to be healthy and strong. In nature, 10% survive, so these guys are doing alright.

Well, the 'possum's are safe and sound at an animal rehabilitation place on Long Island. All 11 seemed to make the trip just fine. Talk about minor miracles. If anyone ever needs to take care of these types of critters, use pedialyte. But they can aspirate it easily so put it in a spoon so they can just try to lap it up.
